Kate Curry is an entrepreneur and technology expert. She is the creator and developer of Inchargebox, a device designed to assist parents with managing their children’s time online. Kate approaches her creative work with felicity and passion. She is dedicated to supporting a safer online world for children and to empowering families in the wise and supportive use of digital technologies, in this radically changing environment.

Kate Curry completed Year 12 at Loreto Toorak in 1990, having commenced in Year 3. Whilst at school, Kate loved being part of the choir, school musicals, the PAF and during school many friendships were developed. Following Year 12, Kate studied a Bachelor of Arts, majoring in Literature, Classics and Music. After years of work and travel overseas Kate returned to Australia and started her own family. Kate opened her own small business centred on the management and organisation of children’s parties before moving to explore her creative and inventive skills.

In 2017 Kate created the world’s first, lockable, multidevice charging box, Inchargebox. The box is endorsed and recommended worldwide by cybersafety experts, parenting experts, child psychologists and the many families who use it. The Inchargebox directs children and parents to manage their screen time, providing a guidance in the balance of technology for school, home and family life. Following the success and positive response to her work in this space, Kate has successfully donated the Inchargebox to several not-for-profit organisations which support the wellbeing of children.

Kate has been a finalist in the Telstra Business Women’s Awards, a several-times finalist in the ‘Mumpreneur’ awards for project innovation and a winner of two Roar Business Awards. She has also been recognised by the Victorian government in the list of top 50 small business leaders.
